YouTubers filmmakers are taking it to the next level! In the last 3 months multiple YouTubers have gotten multiple million dollar deals based on their original short films and audience.
We need to revisit short films. Back in the day the rule of thumb when making a short film was not to spend over $10K. Nowadays as a Line Producer I am doing short film budgets ranging from $35k, $65k, and as high as $100K. Speed is the name of the game!
